U.S. Applicants to the Ph.D. Program May Qualify for a Travel Stipend

 

The University of Connecticut's Graduate School has awarded the Departments of Animal  Science and Pathobiology and Veterinary Science a competitive grant to help attract highly-qualified U.S. citizens to their graduate programs.

Any U.S. citizen who has applied to either departments' Ph.D. program may request consideration for the travel stipend. Funds can cover airfare/ground transportation, hotel accommodations and meals. During the campus visit, the student can meet with the research faculty and graduate students to determine if graduate training at UCONN will benefit both the applicant and their prospective faculty advisor.
